Nana Anime Night Updated Poster. The event got moved back a week due to the weather. The 21st was cold and raining.

The event was hosted at Artisan Craft Bar.

I put off writing about it for about a week because I didn’t want to be a hater. But I also wanted this blog to be as honest as I could about different events.

The event was hosted at Artisan Craft Bar in San Antonio. It’s the second event we have done there. The last one was a Christmas Market. We had reservations about vending there again, but the event was being ran by Chiflandaandco Crafts, so we thought it would be better than the last time we were at Artisan.

That was the whole reason I didn’t want to write about it. The place is awful for vending. Last time we were there, I was hoping it was just because it wasn’t advertised well, but Val of Chiflandaandco did a great job advertising and we still didn’t do well.

Photo of booth selling anime paintings that was across from our booth

Maybe it’s because artisan was not our crowd, but I was watching the booth across from us (see picture above) and he didn’t do well either. I had plenty of time to watch him because even though it looked like there were plenty of people at the bar, there were not people there to shop at the anime market.

I think our booth was pretty cute. I lit up the sign after I took this photo, so the seahorse selfie wall was lit up.

the ITAI booth set up for Nana Anime Night. The booth features a display of ITA bags, rosettes, and other kawaii accessories.

To be fair to Val, there were WAY more people there than last time we vended at Artisan. But we didn’t do any better. I think a part of it was Jack wasn’t there the first half of the night. Last time we vended there, over half our sales came from him doing palm readings.
