There are laten flies everywhere. They are taking over. I watch them as I sit outside thinking of you. I wonder why they survived everything. Why you didn’t.
I need to move. I need to see you again. I need just one last time.
I talk to Jack every day. I write him letters most days. I kept some of the things he wrote me. I think most but I can’t be sure till I do through the storage unit that contains both our lives.
I feel like neither of our parents respected our life together. Maybe they thought it was just a phase. Maybe they thought we weren’t serious. I was serious. No matter how Jack felt.
I am fine waiting until I can see him again. Anything else feels like a betrayal of my love.
I tried so hard. I wanted everything to work out so hard. I made your family little eggs chippys for Thanksgiving last year and you invited me at the last minute.
I wanted so badly for this to work. For you get to sober and us to be happy. And sometimes it would happen. And sometimes you would push me away
